Pin It Now! There is so much to be done on a Disney vacation. Visiting the theme parks is just the beginning. Beyond the parks there are many recreation, shopping, dining, and entertainment options to enjoy. How about enjoying a beautiful morning with a round of golf at one of Disney's premier golf courses? A day trip to a Disney Water Park can also be a great way to relax, have fun, and enjoy the Florida weather.
Holidays at WDW are especially magical. If you are visiting during the winter holidays, take time to tour the resorts. Each resort is decorated to its specific theming with wonderful holiday touches. Many offer special events and entertainment over the holidays season.
Another "out-of-the-park" idea is to enjoy an evening at La Nuba byCirque du Soleil, a magical entertainment experience like no other. La Nuba brings together dreams and reality as the urban and circus worlds meet on stage through acrobatics, dazzling choreography, whimsical characters and live music.
If you are at WDW to celebrate a special event such as a honeymoon or anniversary, you will want to take advantage of some of the more romantic experiences Disney has to offer. Stroll along the beach between the Grand Floridian and the Polynesian after dark, soak in a hot tub late at night, watch the Magic Kingdom fireworks from a hammock on the Polynesians beach, or rent a surrey bike for just the two of you and take a turn around the Disney Boardwalk or through quiet trails at the Port Orleans resort.
I hope this information has given you some good options to get the magic started. In future installments of this series we will take a closer look at some specific ways to take advantage of all the "extra" magic available at the WDW Resort.
