Since my Disney Cruise is coming up soon and as I mentioned in a previous post, I'll be blogging tips regarding cruising with Disney. Today I have a Castaway Cay tip for those traveling with children: Take a small bag of sand toys with you. For your kids to have to play with in the sand on the beach. They do sell sand toys on Castaway Cay, but they are very expensive compared to what you can bring from home. You know that old saying, "it's the little things that count"? Well for me it's those little Disney things that come along and brighten my day. Today I received a letter in the mail, just an ordinary piece of mail nothing special, except that it brought a little Disney with it. In the form of 2 Disney stamps. Now it's nothing big, probably not even worth writing home about...or blogging about...but it brought a smile to face today and gave me that little Disney glimmer in my eye. And I thought just maybe, a little bit of Disney in this post might do the same for you... (here's a pic of the stamps)...

Yes, that's right...only 20 more days until Mr. Pixie and myself set sail on the Disney Dream for our 20th Anniversary cruise to the Bahamas. I'm so beyond excited I can't even tell you. #1, because it's a Disney Cruise and of course as you know anything Disney is faboo as far as I'm concerned. And #2, because it's our first ever cruise! So along with the Disney excitement there's also the excitement of just not knowing what to expect. Unlike our WDW trips I have no point if reference for the cruise. Which makes the buildup to our cast off day so much more thrilling! We are scheduled to leave on Sept. 12, which is our actual anniversary, and drive down to Port Canaveral with a stay at the Raddison for the night. We have the park & stay package. So that we can leave our car at the hotel and they will shuttle us to the port terminal. On Sept. 13 we will head to the terminal to get checked in and board the ship.
